 BMB Navratri 2022 Day 7 : Bollywood & Music Fraternity Comes to Support the Organ Donation Drive....

          Navratri at BMB Dhoom Machale Navratri 2022 saw a house full crowd at Jasmine Banquet Hall, Raghuleela Mall.

The Organ Donation Pledges stall too saw a good attendance.

  The highlight of the evening was a small presentation by Cancer Survivors. Those patients, who had bravely fought against the Cancer disease, spoke about their battle & broke the myth that a diagnosis of Cancer is not a death sentence.

      The message of Organ Donation was put across by the celebrities attending the event. Music director & playback singer Shri Ram Shankar & his daughter singer Sneha Shankar made their presence felt by singing on stage during Garba session.

    The cast & crew of “Ek Naya Savera” a biography on our Hon Prime Minister Narendra Modiji; were present along with actor Shri Vikas Mohanty who plays the role of Shri Narendra Modiji in the film. Shri Vikas Mohanty is a popular actor as he has acted as Narendra Modiji’s lookalike in several films & web series. Director-Producer of the movie Shabbir Quereshi along with his movie cast pledged to support organ donation awareness in their communities. 

   BMB Committee Member Dr. Kajal Bhanushali said “It is seen commonly that people feel that if they pledge for organ donation, then they will not get treated properly by the doctors in the hospitals when they get admitted for any illness. This is not true; as doctors will try their best to preserve your life first. If everything fails, and we declare that the patient has no chance to survive, then only we request the patient’s relatives to consider donating the patient’s organs, so someone will get a new life.”

   Chest Physician Dr. Kinjal Modi shared a message: “At the time of death, the doctors will review your medical history to determine whether or not you can be a donor. With recent advances in transplantation, many more people than ever before can be donors. Do not forget to tell your family that you wish to be an organ and tissue donor, so your wish is fulfilled.”
