1. Devotees concludes the Chhath festival by offering Argha to the rising sun on the bank of the holy Bagmati river. In an ancient Hindu festival, rituals are performed to thank the sun god for sustaining life on earth. Chhath Puja is a Hindu festival where devotees pray to sun god and offer Prasad and special delicacies at sunset and before sunrise and end their fast by eating 'Prasad' and special delicacies : ( Photo Courtesy - Manish )
