The Shiamak Davar Dance Academy hosts their annual Summer Funk in Mumbai

Shiamak Davar’s dance academy, over the weekend, hosted their annual Summer Funk dance festival in Mumbai. More than 80 students from different age groups took the stage to showcase different dance styles.
"The Summer Funk, for us at the academy, is a celebration of dance! For me, it is a very proud moment as I get to see all of my students perform on-stage and express themselves through dance and music," explained Shiamak Davar.
Actor Ishaan Khatter, along with Mira Rajput Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, were also in attendance as Mira Rajput Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s kids also performed at Summer Funk this year.
Mira Rajput Kapoor took to social media to praise the dance guru in a post captioned, "Shiamak you are incredible. I had goosebumps, tears, a heart full of pride, and an insane amount of fun this evening. What you do and how you make people feel is MAGIC @shiamakindiaofficial Love you tons."
Even Ishaan Khatter shared videos and pictures on social media, saying "The day was special." An alumni of the academy himself, Ishaan, also joined in on the students on-stage to dance to the beats of the Zingaat.
The Shiamak Davar Dance Academy organizes these Funk batches, Summer Funk, Summer Funk 2 and Winter Funk, through their course for their students to develop their performance technique, teamwork, discipline, and professionalism.
