          Ananya Panday wins an award for Gehraiyaan. Ananya portrays Tia, the cousin of Deepika Padukone's character Alisha. She perfected the role of an upbeat girl enjoying her wonderful life throughout the first half and a suspicious but loving partner in the latter.

Gehraiyaan revolves around yoga instructor Alisha, her live-in partner Karan, her cousin Tia, and Tia's fiancé Zain. Alisha's secret affair with Zain causes grief, financial deception, blackmail, the exposure of family secrets, and death. Ananya praised her director, Shakun Batra, and co-stars Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi for helping her bring her "A game" as Tia and dedicated the award to her fans, whom she described as meaning the world to her. She is now one of the most popular Gen Z stars in Bollywood. 

Commenting on the win, Ananya said, "This one belongs to all of you because it's your love that keeps me going. Gehraiyaan is a super special film, and this award is extremely close to my heart. I cannot thank you enough for your love and support for Tia and me." The young actor thanked the fans for believing in her and hoped to see them at the movies soon.

On the work front, Ananya Panday will appear alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
